Surfs up: Photo Gallery (2024)

Surfs up: Photo Gallery (2024)

Heading down to Bournemouth Beach with my New 500mm Nikon Super Telephoto lens was such a buzz. With no commercial pressures weighing me down, I had the freedom to just focus on capturing the surfers doing their thing.

Watching them ride those waves was mesmerizing, and with the new lens, I could really zoom in and get those close-up shots that show off their skills.

I decided to go for black and white photos because it just felt right for the vibe. The contrast between the ocean spray and the sky looked killer in monochrome, adding a cool dramatic touch to the shots.

It wasn't just about snapping pics of surfers; it was about capturing the essence of Bournemouth Beach in a timeless way that speaks to the soul.

MAVIC PRO // BOURNEMOUTH

MAVIC PRO

So I recently took delivery of my new favourite bit of kit the DJI Mavic Pro. I've not worked on editing a video on a long long time so this was my first of many. Showing a few view points from around my beautiful home town of Bournemouth. The weather on Saturday was incredible and the first signs of spring. The warmth felt amazing, and the views from Hengistbury head were just to die for. I hope you enjoy this little sample video.
