Read MoreHeading down to Bournemouth Beach with my New 500mm Nikon Super Telephoto lens was such a buzz. With no commercial pressures weighing me down, I had the freedom to just focus on capturing the surfers doing their thing.
Watching them ride those waves was mesmerizing, and with the new lens, I could really zoom in and get those close-up shots that show off their skills.
I decided to go for black and white photos because it just felt right for the vibe. The contrast between the ocean spray and the sky looked killer in monochrome, adding a cool dramatic touch to the shots.
It wasn't just about snapping pics of surfers; it was about capturing the essence of Bournemouth Beach in a timeless way that speaks to the soul.
