Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is a deposit required?
A non‑refundable deposit secures your date and covers pre‑event planning and preparation.
Deposits ensure commitment on both sides and protect against last‑minute cancellations.

  • Do I receive raw (unedited) images?
Raw files are not usually provided. Every delivered photograph is professionally edited to ensure quality and consistency. *RAWs can be sent for a discussed fee however this is rarely required.

How will my images be delivered?
Images are provided via a private online gallery with both download options for highest resolution (8048) and web‑ready versions (2048) Heres a link so you can see where your gallery will be located. Gallery.JamesBridlePhoto.co.uk

    Turnaround Time
Standard delivery is within 3 Days for events, but if it happens to be a large scale festival or more intensive project this will take longer, usually around 5-7 days. However I always offer previews after the event or project so you can see what sort of results you’re looking at, and express delivery may be arranged for an additional fee.

  • Licensing helps me to understand where and how the images are going to be used. This allows me to give you the correct pricing structure for the usage you’ve selected. This can always be added on down the line - so not to worry if you want to extend your current license agreement later. Here are some examples of usage.

    Web / Website
    Social Media
Print / Posters / Marketing Materials
Press / PR / Editorial Use
Out of Home (Billboards, Signage, etc.)
    Other: Apps or other Digital

  • Image styles are usually something I consider when I look at the images themselves after the shoot. Decide on what will look based and most consistent.

To break this down further, the image style is basically the look and feel of the image after it comes out of the camera. RAW files dont have any real ‘flavour’ they need that bit adding through editing. Often this is called a Preset, and this is processed through Software during the editing process.

If you would like to collaborate on this (perhaps to keep consistent with current imagery) Id be happy to work on this with you.

  • I’ve rarely if ever needed to hire equipment for a shoot unless it’s for studio or commercial basis. I have the best Digital Mirrorless options that Nikon have to offer and a wide range of Lighting and modifier support for headshots, commercial or events. So unless it’s very specific I already have most equipment needed.
